On January 12, 2022, Jean slipped away from a long and vibrant life filled with love, laughter, family and friends.
Jean is predeceased by her husbands John Chadwell and Carl Huffman. Survived by: daughter, Helen Chadwell Spaith; grandson, John (jennifer Lane); great grandsons, Finn and Benn; Carl's Children: Tom (Joan); Jerry (Katie); Patty Conover; Greg (Lori); Shelie Sebastian (Country); Sandy Schweitzer; Larry and their children. In-laws: Marvin (Millie) Huffman; Billie jean Huffman and Mary Jo (Al) Woods. She also leaves sisters: Hilda Williams; Pat Hunt; Shelia (Tony) Marconi and nieces and nephews.
Loving and kind Neighbors appreciated Jean in many special ways. heartfelt gratitude to : Bob and Kathy Burges; JP and Melissa Colson; Greg and Sheila Edwards; Clara Jones and Beth Marhoffer.
Jean enjoyed simple pleasures and lived her life as an example of both independence and confidence. She is perhaps best remembered for her directness and strong work ethic.
She was a retired hair stylist and had been a member of Daughters of America and Eastern Star. Later she was active in the area's Senior Citizens' groups; Homemakers; Tops; Grant County Church of Christ and volunteered at Helping Hands.
Jean has been well-loved and will be well-remembered. May she remain a source of inspiration to all of us who treasured her.
Arrangements are private and have been entrusted to Elliston Stanley Funeral Home. Private graveside services will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
