Jeffrey Kenneth Phillips was born May 14, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky and passed away June 8, 2022 at his residence in Morning View, Kentucky at the age of 60. He was the son of Opal Ginter Phillips and the late Woody Phillips.
On June 8, 1984 Jeff was united in marriage to Lisa Gail Oliver Phillips. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter: Hannah Blackburn and her husband, Daniel, of Crittenden; his son: Jesse Phillips and his wife, Brittany, of Morning View; two sisters: Ginny Gray and her husband, Mickey, of Williamstown and Patty Beauvier and her husband, Dan, of Dry Ridge; and five grandchildren: Blake Phillips, Denver Blackburn, Ruby Blackburn, Adaline Phillips and Abel Plummer.
Jeff was a disabled Machine Operator for Welding Alloys and he was a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially camping, hiking and fishing. Over the last several years he also enjoyed collecting many different types of things.
Funeral services will be 12:30 PM, Friday, June 17, 2022 at Sherman Full Gospel Assembly in Dry Ridge with Rev. Gayliss Gaines officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM, Friday, June 17, 2022 at the church. Burial with military honors will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown.
