Jennie Slaby, 45, of Williamstown, KY, slipped into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday November 2, 2021. Born November 18, 1975 in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of Michael ChiPoon and MoTing Ngai Cheung.
On August 16, 1997, she was united in marriage to Matthew Paul Slaby; he survives. Three months ago, Jennie, Matthew and their children moved from northeast Georgia to Williamstown; she was a Program Specialist for Creation Museum in Petersburg. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education. She enjoyed reading and journaling but her greatest joy came from loving and serving her Lord and spending quality time with her beautiful family. She and her family were attending Liberty Bible Church in Crittenden.
In addition to her husband, Matthew, she leaves to mourn her loss and celebrate her legacy of love, her parents: Michael ChiPoon and MoTing Ngai Cheung of Fresh Meadows, NY; a son: David Slaby of Fresh Meadows, NY; three daughters: Sarah Slaby, Violet Slaby, Lealin Slaby, all of Williamstown and a brother: Timothy Cheung of Fresh Meadows, NY.
Visitation will be Wednesday November 10, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes (Williamstown location). Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Scott Chadwick officiating. Funeral services can be viewed on Facebook Live via Stanley Funeral Homes webpage.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jennie's memory toward the funeral expenses directly to Stanley Funeral Homes.
