Jerene Rose

Jerene Rose of Crittenden, KY formerly of Dry Ridge was born January 10, 1926 in Cynthiana, KY and died Monday, May 10, 2021 at her residence at the age of 95.

She was the daughter of the late Clark and Dolly Lyons Whalen, a homemaker, a former employee at the Quilt Box in Dry Ridge, the former sexton of the New Vine Run Cemetery, and a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church. She was united in marriage on April 17, 1948 to her husband Cecil Rose who preceded her in death in 1995. In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by a daughter Beverly Edmondson and brother Kenneth Whalen.

Surviving is 2 sons, Tim Rose of Dry Ridge and Gary Rose of Crittenden, 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:00am Friday, May 14, 2021 at the New Vine Run Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
