Jerry Lynn Howard

Jerry Lynn Howard, Sr. , of Williamstown, KY,  was born on August 10, 1938 in Cardinal, KY and passed away October 15, 2024 in Ludlow, KY at the age of 86.  Jerry was one of 13 children born to the late Vincent and Clara Andrews Howard.

Jerry was a Chemical Engineer at W.R. Grace and a member and Deacon of the Zion Baptist Church for more than 20 years.  He enjoyed gardening, cutting grass, hunting, fishing and tinkering in his garage.  His greatest joy was time spent with family and friends.

He is survived by two sons: Jerry Howard, Jr of Newport, KY, Carl Lee Howard of Crittenden, KY; two daughters: Connie Seibert of Ludlow, KY, Carol King of Crittenden, KY; a brother: Jack Howard, two sisters: Jewel Degrado of IN, Sharon Powell of Louisville, KY; along with eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by six brothers: Rev. Joe Howard, Ray Howard, Mendle Howard, Walter Howard, Vincent Howard, Jr., Vernon Howard and two sisters: Christine Barton and Mary Helen Britton.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the funeral home in Williamstown.  Burial will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 21, 2024 at the Upland Cemetery in Blackmont, KY.
