Jewel Laverne Caldwell

Jewel Martin Caldwell was born Feb. 6, 1931 in Williamstown, KY. to the late Robert L. and Thelma Bell Marksberry Martin.  She passed away Wed., Nov. 24, 2021 at her residence in Williamstown at the age of 90.

She was a homemaker and member of the Williamstown Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl G. Caldwell, who she married on Feb. 26, 1949.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Jewel was also preceded in death by a son, Darrell W. Caldwell, a grandson, Chance Kevin Patrick Chester Caldwell and two brothers, Robert R. and Leon Martin.

Jewel is survived by her sons, Barry G. (Trena) Caldwell, Colleyville, TX and Terry L. (Mary Jean) Caldwell, Glasgow, KY, a daughter-in-law, Pat Caldwell and grandchildren, Kamryn, Barry Jr., David, Chris, Danny, Chanda, Chad, Chaya and Chase  and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, Dec. 2, at the Williamstown Baptist Church.  Visitation will be from 5 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown and after 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY.  Memorials are suggested to Williamstown Baptist Church Building Fund, 214 N.
