Jimmie Collins Lonkard

Jimmie Collins Lonkard of Georgetown, KY was born January 8th, 1953 in Corinth, KY. He passed Tuesday August 24th, 2021 at Georgetown Community Hospital at the age of 68. The son of the late Floyd Collins Lonkard and Marie Liford Lonkard. In addition to his parents, Jimmie is preceded in death by his son Logan Patrick Lonkard, a brother, Floyd Lonkard, Jr. and a sister, Carolyn Garnett. Surviving are one son, Evan C. Lonkard, and one daughter, Teresa M. Lonkard, both of Louisville, KY. Also surviving, one brother, Bobby Lonkard of Georgetown, KY. Jimmie earned his Associates Degree in Business, finding a career providing Financial Assistance to Veterans through the Veterans Administration Office. Along with being an avid golfer, Jimmie was a well known teacher of the Korean art of self-defense, Tae Kwon Do. Memorial services for Jimmie will be conducted privately and at the convenience of the family.
