Jo Ann Banks

Jo Ann Banks , 58, of Dry Ridge, passed away Sunday April 19, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Ft. Thomas from complications of COVID-19. Born June 30, 1961 in Owenton, KY, she was the daughter of Mary Agnes Lee and the late Jim Durrell Doolin.

On March 28, 1981 she was united in marriage to Kevin Marshall Banks, he survives. She was a bus monitor for the Grant County Board of Education. Boating and camping, along with spending time with her friends was Jo Ann’s delight. Her warm and welcoming smile coupled with her charming personality caused her to be endeared by everyone that knew her. She loved riding her Harley Davidson with her husband, Kevin and other friends. She was a faithful member of First Love Community Fellowship.

She leaves to carry on her legacy, her husband of 39 years, Kevin Banks, her mother, Mary Lee of Dry Ridge, KY; one son: Kevin “Bub” (Caitlin) Banks of Dry Ridge, KY; two daughters: Nicole (Kevin) Franklin of Dry Ridge, KY and Mindy Walters of Florence, KY. Three grandchildren, who affectionately loved their “Mawmaw” also survive: Taylor Franklin, Abel Banks and Kaden Banks.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and to help accommodate the family’s needs, a drive-thru rolling visitation will take place at Stanley Funeral Homes - Williamstown  on April 27, 2020 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. (NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO EXIT THEIR VEHICLES!!!!)

Again, do NOT exit your vehicle.  Please drive through our facility carport to pay your final respects to the family from your vehicle.  We encourage you to leave an online condolence on our website  at www.stanleyfuneralhomes.com .  A private funeral will be held Monday with graveside services to follow on Tuesday at Williamstown Cemetery in Williamstown, KY with Bro. David Hammond officiating.
