John H. Mulberry, Sr.

December 22, 1926 — April 14, 2019

Mr. John H. Mulberry, Sr. of Corinth, KY. passed away Sunday, April 14 after a short stay at Dover Manor Nursing Home in Georgetown, KY. at the age of 92.  Mr. Mulberry was born December 22, 1926 in Stonewall, Scott County, KY. to the late Homer Mulberry and Frances Courtney Mulberry.  Mr. Mulberry was a life long farmer and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.  When not working the land on his farm, Mr. Mulberry enjoyed fishing and working in his garden.  When he was a younger man, Mr. Mulberry played fast pitch softball and he was a former member of the National Farmers Organization.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Mulberry was preceded in death by his wife: Juanita Florence Mulberry in 2017 and by a son: Herbert Mulberry in 2012.

Mr. Mulberry is survived by 3 sons: Jerry Mulberry of Georgetown, KY., John H. Mulberry, Jr. and his wife Donna of Sadieville, KY., Rick Mulberry of Sadieville, KY., 2 sisters: Elizabeth Gudgell of Maysville, KY., Virginia Mullins of Dayton, OH., 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. John H. Mulberry, Sr. will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, April 19 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, 440 Old Corinth-Owenton Road, Corinth, KY. 41010.  Visitation will be there on Thursday, April 18 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery, Georgetown, KY.  Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
