John William Richerson

Mr. John W. Richerson, a Jonesville resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence, KY on Friday, January 7, 2022 at the age of 71.  He was the husband of Arbiedella "Della" Dyer Richerson.

Mr. Richerson was an owner/operator of Richerson Trucking for over 20 years.  He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.  He was a farmer, loved to travel, loved his cats, gambling, tractors and socializing with friends and neighbors.  He is described as being a selfless man who wouldn't hesitate to help strangers in time of need.  His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Arbiedella, John is survived by three sons, Dale A. Becker of Jonesville, KY, Todd A. (Lorrie) Richerson of Jonesville, KY, Trevor A. (Jessica) Richerson of Jonesville, KY, one brother Dewey "Woody" (Linda) Richerson of Covington, LA, one sister, Martha (David) Orsborne of Jonesville, KY, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 10am-12 noon at the Eckler McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge, KY.  Funeral services will be at 12noon.  Burial will follow at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Jonesville, KY.  Bro Gene Hill will be officiating services.
