Joseph "Joe" Allen Pettit

Mr. Joseph "Joe" Allen Pettit, a Williamstown resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence, KY on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the age of 66.  He was the husband of Marie Jones Pettit.

Joe was born in Owenton, KY on October 6, 1956 to the late Harold W. and Ruby Mains Pettit.  He was a farmer his entire life and a former machine operator for Performance Pipe.  He loved to hunt, ride his tractor and work on his farm.  He was a member of the Clarks Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife Marie, Joe is survived by two sisters, Romagene (Marvin) Henry of Dry Ridge, KY, Patricia (Rick) Covey of Williamstown, KY, his close friend Lee (Amanda) Bailey and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, May 15, 2023 from 11am-1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will be at 1pm.  Rev. Howard Chipman will be officiating.  Burial will follow at the Jonesville IOOF Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to The Family.    NOTE: The date of this funeral is the updated/revised date.
