Joseph Wayne Link

Mr. Joseph Wayne Link, a Williamstown resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ft. Thomas, KY on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the age of 80.  He was the husband of Connie Price Link.

Wayne was born in Corinth, KY on September 5, 1941 to the late Florian Link and Mendola Lawrence Link.  On January 20, 1961 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Connie Jean Price Link.  Wayne was a maintenance supervisor for the Miami Margarine Company most of his life as well as a former Union Teamster Leader and welder.  He was a member of the NRA and was a music leader, trustee and deacon for Lystra Church of Christ.  He loved hunting, fishing, farming, vegetable gardening, horses, UK Basketball and loved to travel to Amish towns.  He enjoyed working his fruit orchards and grapes where he is known for his homemade jellies, jams and wine.

In addition to his wife Connie of 61 years, Wayne is survived by two sons, Dennis "Mickey" Price (Mona) of Jonesville, KY, Todd Link of Williamstown, KY, one daughter, Kimberly Link-Albers (Douglas) of Williamstown, KY, four sisters, Gloria Middleton of Dry Ridge, KY, Kay Frost of Dry Ridge, KY, Glenna Simpson of Williamstown, KY, Doris Lyons of Bellefontaine, OH, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Wayne was preceded in death by four brothers, Maldon, Florian Jr., Donald and Bobby Link.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 11am-2pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral will be at 2pm at the funeral home. Minister Josh Grooms will be officiating services assisted by Milkweed Wotier.  Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.  Memorials are suggested to the Lystra Church of Christ.
