Joshua Lee Clagg

Joshua Lee Clagg, 41, of Dry Ridge, KY, died Thursday March 2, 2023 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth – Edgewood. Born February 15, 1982 in Fort Campbell, KY, he was the son of James Warren Clagg and Charyl Ann Smith Clagg. He was a graduate of Williamstown High School. Upon graduation he entered the United States Army where he proud served his country for 10 years; he spend over two years in Iraq as a gunner and a member of the 172nd Infantry. Being a Master Marksman, he had a special love for artillery. On May 27, 2015 he officially retired with an honorable and medical discharge; he earned a rank of Sergeant E5. He also enjoyed go-cart riding and playing his Xbox. Survivors include his mother: Charyl Ann Smith Clagg of Dry Ridge, KY; his father: James Warren Clagg of Lexington, S.C.; two daughters: Abi Clagg of Dry Ridge, KY, Isabelle Clagg of Dayton, OH and one brother: Jimmy (Kristy) Clagg of Corinth, KY. Graveside services will be 12:00noon Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - North.
