Joyce Dean Nunley

Mrs. Joyce Dean Nunley of Cynthiana, KY. passed away Wednesday, January 20 at her residence at the age of 78.  Mrs. Nunley was born April 17, 1942 in Russell Springs, KY. to the late Durward Belmont Wilkerson and Eurie Foley Wilkerson.  Mrs. Nunley was a retired manager for Macke Vending Co. and a member of the Unity Christian Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Nunley was preceded in death in 2010 by her husband, Navy Lt. Jack B. Nunley (ret.).

Mrs. Nunley is survived by 2 daughters: Teresa Thornton of Cynthiana, KY., Jan McDaniel and her husband John of Cynthiana, KY., 2 sons: Terry Thornton of Mt. Vernon, KY., Charles Thornton and his wife Colleen of Paris, KY., 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation and private burial will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. at the convenience of the family.  The Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home of Dry Ridge, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Joyce Dean Nunley.
