Juanita Marie Lilly

Juanita Marie Wells Wright Lilly, 87, of Dry Ridge, KY, entered her eternal rest on Friday November 10, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center - Edgewood.  Born on July 5, 1936 in Harrison County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Arven Lee and Mary Lindsey Clemons Wells.

In 1964, Juanita started as a Nurse’s Aide at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Grant County and remained in that capacity until she retired. She was an avid sports enthusiast with a particular love for the U.K. Wildcats and the Cincinnati Reds; she had an uncanny ability to remember all the players’ names, stats and performance records.  Juanita was a very family oriented person; she loved spending time and sharing in activities with them. She was a member of Sherman Church of Christ.

Juanita leaves to carry on her legacy, one daughter: Becky Marie (Tim) Bowen of Demossville, KY; three sons: Charles Michael (Patsy) Wright of Dry Ridge, KY, Scott Allen (Suzanne) Wright of Falmouth, KY,  Mark Eugene (Janelle) Lilly of Corinth, KY and one sister: Sylvia Toole of Harrison, OH. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren: Lindsey (Brian) Shelton, Emily (Kyle) McClanahan, Erin Colson (Justin), Dustin Bowen, Kyle (Jessica) Bowen, Mikayla Bowen (Chad), Hunter Lilly, Kyle Lilly, Emmarie Lilly, Faith Wright, Shane Wright (Sammie), Emily Jodrey, Dylan (Tanya) Fields, Jessica (Brandon) Ross, along with 14 great- grandchildren: Brody Shelton, Bailey Shelton, Everly McClanahan, Elliott McClanahan, Luke Colson, Levi Colson, Lincoln Bowen, Hawk Bowen, Westyn Wright, Landry Wright, Becham Ross, Kyndal Ross, Jameson Fields and Lorelei Fields.  She was preceded in death by two daughters: Cynthia Wright, Margaret Wright; two sisters: Carlena Simpson, Helen Wells and six brothers: Hobert, Clay, Johnny, Emmett, Kenneth and Leroy Wells.

Visitation will be Tuesday November 14, 2023 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning November 15, 2023 at 11:00 at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown with Bro. David Wells and Bro. Scotty Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers are: Kyle McClanahan, Brian Shelton, Shane Wright, Hunter Lilly, Kyle Lilly, Luke Colson and Joel Olivas.
