Juanita Morgan

Juanita Morgan, 84, of Dry Ridge, KY went to her heavenly home on March 2nd, 2025.

Born on September 11th, 1940, to Charlie and Julia Morgan, Juanita was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eddie Lee Morgan, whom she married on January 7th, 1959.

Juanita is survived by her three children: Tony (Diana) Morgan, Tracy (Mike) Merrell, and Christy (Troy) Hagedorn.  She was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren: Kelli (Aaron) Owings, Katelyn (Jacob) Kinman, Jeremy Merrell, Lauren Merrell and Tori Hagedorn.  She also had three great granddaughters: Addyson, Ashlyn and Charlotte Owings.

She was the third born of twelve siblings: James Morgan, Catherine Roseberry, Daisy Hudson, Harold Morgan, Ernie Morgan, Violet Morgan, Fern Morgan, Rose Holland, Pharron Morgan, Lois Mulberry, and Barb Vaughn.

Juanita helped with her husband's business, Morgan Aluminum, where she assisted Eddie with clerical office work.  She was also a talented seamstress, known for creating intricate quilts, and a passionate gardener who grew beautiful flowers.  Her cooking skills were unmatched, especially when it came to her signature dish of soup beans and cornbread.

A devout Christian, Juanita loved God with all her heart.  She found joy in singing and playing gospel music.  Her unwavering faith, kindness, and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Juanita's legacy of love, faith, and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.  She will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain a source of strength for her family.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Wednesday, at Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Hill Crest Cemtery.
