Judith Raisor Wainscott

Mrs. Judy Raisor Wainscott, a Williamstown resident, passed away on July 22, 2020 in Tennessee.  She was the wife of Gene Wainscott.

Judy was a retired secretary for DHL Airways.  She was a 50 year member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Holbrook, KY.  She liked to attend auctions, yard sales and visit the casino.  She is well known for her deviled eggs and loved to cook.  She was known to have a green thumb with her flower gardening skills.  Even though she had a love for big macs and chocolate ice cream, it didn't compare to the love she had spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Gene, Judy is survived by two sons, Jeremy (Jennifer) Wainscott of Crestview Hills, KY, Jarred Wainscott of Walton, KY, two daughters, Tina (Mike) Swope of Holiday, FL, Sheila (Jeff) Collier of Williamstown, KY, one brother, Ronnie (Mary Alice) Raisor of Florence, KY, two sisters, Norma Baxter of Dry Ridge, KY, Doris (Robert) Robb of Florence, KY, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her favorite dog, Sugar.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Lena Kinman Raisor, one brother, JB Raisor, two sisters, Donna Beckett and Betty Magee.

Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2020 from 11am-1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will be private with Rev. Howard Chipman officiating. Burial will be at the Ky Veteran's Cemetery, North in Williamstown, KY.  Memorials are suggested to the Bethany Baptist Church.

Social Distancing and masks will be required according to Governor's orders.  We will be operating at a 50% capacity.  We ask everyone to have patience getting in the building and to exit expediently after paying your respects to allow others to proceed in.
