Judy Mason Ely

Mrs. Judy Mason Ely, a Corinth resident, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the age of 76.  She was the wife of Sonnie Ely.

Mrs. Ely was a retired clerk of AT&T, formerly known as Michigan Bell after 30 years.    She loved to camp, read, watch Hallmark movies and flower gardening.  She is known for her cooking capabilities and her most requested dishes were chicken n dumplins, pineapple upside down cake, fudge and rice krispie treats.  Above all, she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Sonnie, she is survived by her son, Brent (Tamara) Ely of Corinth, KY, one brother, Jeff (Peggy) Mason of Southlyon, MI, three sisters, Joyce (Don) Merchia, Janice White, and Joann (Mark) Drohan all of Michigan, one granddaughter Sydney Ely of Florence, KY and one grandson, Tyler Ely of Corinth, KY.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman Mason, Eva Parker Mason and one brother, James Mason.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 11 from 4-8pm at the Elliston Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will be Thursday, May 12 at 10am.  Burial will follow at the KY Veteran's Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY.
