Judy Loomis of Gardnersville, Kentucky

August 22, 1951 - September 7, 2018

Judy Loomis , 67, wife of Pete Loomis and resident of Gardnersville, died Friday September 7, 2018 at St. Elizabeth – Florence. Born August 22, 1951 in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Iva Smith Salmons.

A dedicated homemaker, wife, mother and “Grammy”, she enjoyed her family and was committed to loving everyone of them. She loved spending time in her flower garden, scrapbooking and fishing. She was a member of the New Columbus Baptist Church.

On February 9, 1991, Judy was united in marriage at Sherman Church of Christ to Pete Loomis, he survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters: Sheila Flachs of Dry Ridge, KY, Jennifer Pearson of Crittenden, KY, Darla (Audie) Barber of Muncie, IN; three sons: Justin Loomis of Crittenden, KY, Greg Halfhill of Alaska, Donnie (Kay) Loomis of Berry, KY; three brothers: Darryl (Margaret) Salmons of Walton, KY, Harold (Sandy) Salmons of Owenton, KY, Larry (Jodi) Salmons of Corinth, KY; three sisters: Lois (Jerry) Spenneberg of Crittenden, KY, Gail (Morris) Webster of Williamstown, KY and Mary (Ron) Elliot of Dry Ridge, KY.

Nine grandchildren also survive: Adam Prince, Morgan Flachs, Mollie Flachs, Brenna Webster, Donnie Loomis, Jr., Anthony Young, Jerry Loomis, Heather Frederick and Jesse McCracken, along with 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday September 10, 2018 from 5:00 – 9:00 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral – Crittenden location. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday September 11 at 1:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.
