Junior Ray Cook

Junior Ray Cook, 67, of Corinth, KY passed away Wednesday June 29, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence, KY. Born June 13, 1955 in Grant County, he was the son of the late Bill and Dorothy Wainscott Cook.

Junior was a lifelong farmer; he enjoyed raising tobacco and tending his garden. In his younger years he enjoyed roller-skating and in his spare time he loved fishing. He was a member of the Corinth Christian Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir.

He leaves to mourn his passing, one brother: Willie William (Elsie) Cook of Corinth. He was preceded in death by a sister: Fannie Cook Adkins and a nephew: Willie Adkins.

Visitation will be Tuesday July 5, 2020 at McDaniel Funeral Homes in Corinth from 4:00 till 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday July 6 from 12 Noon until the time of the funeral at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Quintin McNabb officiating.  Burial will follow in New Columbus Cemetery.
