Karl Glenn Moore , 71, a resident of Erlanger, KY, formerly of Dry Ridge, passed away Thursday July 11, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood after an extended illness. Born October 24, 1947, he was the son of the late Victor Carl and Dorothy Mae Whaley Moore.
Karl Glenn retired as the owner and operator of Shamrock Inn in Walton. He had a special love for horses; he showed horses at the local county fairs and in general, just loved people! He was a 1965 graduate of He made a profession of faith many years ago at Morgan Christian Church, where he was still a member at the time of his death.
Survivors include two daughters: Lisa Pyles of Arizona, Shawnna (Pat) Morgan of Independence, KY; one brother: Judge Executive Gary Wayne (Linda) Moore of Burlington, KY; one niece: Brandi (Jason) Moore List of California; one nephew: Gary "Scott" (Erikka) Moore of Florence, KY one step-brother: Phillip (Donna) Lewis of Florida; two step-sisters: Sherry (Charles) Meridth of Florida, Diana (Jim) Mullins of Boone Co., KY and an aunt: Jane Whaley Stahl of Falmouth. Three grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. He was preceded in death by a step-sister: Phyllis Lewis Jones.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 17 at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 and go until the time of the funeral. Serving as Pallbearers are: Scott Moore, Mike Whaley, Philip Lewis, Charles Meridth, Red Caldwell, Ed Pierce and Tom Lanter; Honorary Pallbearers will be: Rick Moore and Jerry Barnes. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery in Pendleton County.
