Kathy Haley

Kathy Haley, 72, of Burlington, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Fort Thomas, KY. Kathy was born on June 26, 1950, to the late Johnetta Alexander and Lawrence Beighle.

She assisted in running the family business, Haley Trucking Company, for many years as the bookkeeper.

Kathy was always outside and had a green thumb. She enjoyed planting flowers, snowball bushes, and rose bushes. She always kept her bird feeders full and loved watching the birds, especially finches and cardinals, come and go. She also enjoyed collecting and refinishing antiques, photography, laying out in the sun, and spending time with animals. Most of all, Kathy cherished the time spent with her grandsons and was proud to be their Mamaw. She loved her boys.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 40 years, Richard Haley; daughter Ashlee (Justin Cornett) Haley; stepfather Dannie Alexander; siblings Rita Wilson, Larry (Mary) Beighle, Candy (Darrell) Link, and Marti (Jeff) Crowder; grandchildren Jacob, Aiden, Austyn, AJ, Anthony, and Angel; and special niece Melissa Collins.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Alexander.

A visitation will be held at 12 PM up until the start of her funeral at 2 PM all on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 7106 Hopeful Church Rd, Florence, KY 41042. Kathy will be laid to rest at Burlington Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Kathy’s name to the Huntington Disease Society of America at https://hdsa.org/ .
