Kenneth Emery Bolling

Kenneth Emery Bolling , 69, a resident of Dry Ridge, KY and husband of Ruth Ann Bolling, passed away Friday October 12, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. Born Friday January 21, 1949 in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Emery and Lucille Wainscot Bolling.

On July 19, 1968, at Dry Ridge Christian Church, Ken was united in marriage to the former Ruth Ann Fortner; she survivors. He retired from the KY State Highway Department after 30 years of service; he was a foreman over the bridge crew in Grant Co. He was of the Christian faith. He had a special interest in automobiles/trucks, motorcycles and watching wrestling and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons: Kenneth (Amanda) Bolling and Jeff Bolling, both of Dry Ridge, KY; one sister: Juanita (Charles) Courtney of Williamstown, KY and two grandchildren, Shawn Boling and Taylor Bolling, both of Dry Ridge, KY. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Courtney.

Visitation will be Tuesday October 16, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge, KY; funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Willie Ailstock officiating. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.
