Kenneth Loren Colson

Mr. Kenneth Loren Colson of Crittenden, KY. passed away Monday, March 1 at his residence at the age of 60.  Mr. Colson was born December 17, 1960 in Covington, KY. to Charlene Ellis Colson and the late Jasper "Jackie" Colson.  Mr. Colson was a former production technician working in various factories in the Northern Kentucky area.  Mr. Colson proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling to beaches, parties, and he especially enjoyed the time he spent working as a part time grounds keeper for the Eagle Creek Country Club.  Mr. Colson enjoyed working on his family farm in the Keefer community along with his brother, Rick.  He and Rick grew tobacco for several years and Kenneth grew several crops by himself.  He is most fondly remembered by his family as being a true patriot and his love and devotion for his family.

Mr. Colson is survived by his wife: Tracey Blessing Colson.  2 daughters: Jessica Colson of Crittenden, KY., Jennifer McFarland and her husband Zachary of Florence, KY., a stepson: William Scalf, a stepdaughter: Joanie Scalf, 2 grandchildren: Jasper Colson Roach and Rory Colson.  Mr. Colson's mother also survives, Charlene Ellis Colson of Syracuse, NY.  He has one brother: Rick Colson and his wife Maureen along with their daughter, Christie of Syracuse, NY.  Mr. Colson also has several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Colson will be conducted 1:00 pm Friday, March 5 at the Antioch Church of Christ, Corinth, KY.  Visitation will also be Friday, March 5 at the Antioch Church of Christ from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Burial with military honors will be in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery.  If memorial contributions are desired they may be directed to the American Heart Association.  The McDaniel Funeral Home of Corinth, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mr. Kenneth Loren Colson.
