Kenneth Lee Fain , 62, of Cynthiana, died Wednesday March 10, 2021 at his residence. Born Thursday December 11, 1958 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late Thomas Paul and Henrietta Davis Fain.
In 1998, Kenny was united in marriage to the former Tina Marie Hall; she survives. He was a self-employed mechanic who will always be remembered for being able to “fix anything”; a familiar quote among his friends and family was, “If it has a toggle switch and a push button, Kenny’s been here!” He was a funny man who loved life, loved fishing and especially loved all his grandchildren whom affectionately loved him as “Papaw”. He was a 1976 graduate of Harrison Co. High School.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one son: Danny (Laura Probus) Erskine of Sadieville, KY; two brothers: Larry (Julie) Fain of Warsaw, KY, Mike (late Colleen) Fain of Corinth, KY; a sister-n-law: Rita Fain of Sadieville, KY. Four grandchildren also survive: Clarence Owen Erskine, Case Harrison Erskine, William Edwards Probus, Anna Probus, along with four nephews: Larry, Becky, Timmy, Mikey; one niece: Rachel and a very special friend Paulie (Debbie) Griffieth of Winchester. He was preceded in death by a brother: Thomas Fain II and a sister: Vivian Lynn Fain.
Visitation will be Tuesday March 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m at McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Bill Conatser officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson Family Cemetery located on Stringtown – Webber Road Corinth, KY.
