Kenneth Ray Henderson

September 2, 1943 — October 6, 2018

Kenneth R. Henderson , 75, husband of Judy Henderson and residence of Glencoe, KY, passed away Saturday October 6, 2018 at his residence. Born in Ethel, (Logan Co.) WV, he was the son of the late Millard and Ruth Reese Henderson.

On November 27, 1965, he married the former Judith Sherepita; she survives. A loving and caring husband, father and grandpa, he loved his family and enjoyed golfing and fishing but had a special affection toward UK Basketball.  He retired as a Truck Driver for Ryder Freight and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Walton, KY.

Survivors, in addition to his wife of 53 years are three daughters: Karen (Greg) Jedding of Mason, OH, Patsy (Dave) Sturgill of Mt. Orab, OH, Sandy (Jason) Gamble of Florence, KY; three sisters: Mildred Fay Murphy of West Virginia, Fern Legett of Strongville, OH and Candra (Brian) Reese of Bay Village, OH. Nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

Visitation will be Friday October 12, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Church from 1:00 - 3:00 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 with Father Matt Cushing officiating.  The committal service will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Verona, KY with full Military Honors.  A meal will be provided following the committal service at the fellowship hall of All Saints Catholic Church.

Serving as pallbearers are: Tyler Orling, Jacob Sturgill, Cody Sturgill, Zachary Jedding, Christopher Jedding and Nathanial Jedding.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kenneth's memory to All Saints Catholic Church.
