Kenneth Wayne Peace

Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne Peace, 58, of Huber Heights, OH, (formerly of Verona, KY) died Monday, October 12, 2020 at his residence. Born December 2, 1961 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Covington, KY, he was the son of James Logan Peace and the late Shirley Lee Sutton Peace. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia “Cindy” Peace; two sons: Matthew “Matt” (Gracie) Peace of San Diego, CA, Bryan Peace of Denver, CO; one daughter: Katey Peace of Clifton, OH; one brother: Rick (Connie) Peace of Verona, KY; three sisters: Kimberly (Bobby) Niehaus of Villa Hills, KY, Julie Ashcraft (Bryan) of Union, KY and Amanda Head of Union, KY.

On April 30, 1983, Kenny was united in marriage with the former Kathy Lou Smith, his high school sweetheart and with her he raised his three children in Verona, KY.  After their divorce in 2011, Kenny was again united in marriage to the former Cynthia Scott on May 5, 2013; she survives. He worked as a foreman for Aristech Surfaces in Florence for nearly 30 years.  He was passionate about Classic Rock & Heavy Metal Music, he loved playing the guitar and attending concerts.  He showed his children his love and support by coaching and attending their sporting activities and teaching them how to garden and landscape.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
