Kenny Draper

June 22, 1938 — January 9, 2022

Floyd Kenneth Draper, 83, of Williamstown, KY passed away Sunday January 9, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Edgewood. Born Wednesday June 22, 1938 in Pendleton County, KY, he was the son of the late Homer W. and Mary Ellen Powell Draper.

Farming was his lifelong desire. Working on the farm, particularly, in the tobacco field, is where he found much fulfillment in life. He was a member of Williamstown Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one son: Roger (Peggy) Draper of Morningview; five daughters: Kendra Jo (Jimmy) Moore of Florence, Renee (Phil) Hamon of Dry Ridge, Ramona (Roger) Mullins of Dry Ridge, Robin Holland of Crittenden, Rita (Richard) Bailey of Burlington; three brothers: Donald Draper of Pendleton County, Ronald Draper of Independence, Ricky Draper of Pendleton County;  four sisters: Jean Webster of Independence, Ruth Perkins of Dry Ridge, Brenda Perkins of Williamstown and Sue Dennie of Cynthiana.  Twelve grandchildren also survive: Rhonda Foster, Danielle Varner, Kevin Draper, David Draper, Shaun Hiles, Michael Holland, Amanda Smith, Brandie Houston, T.J. Houston, Jacquelyn Houston, Alexus Gudaitis and Andrew Gudaitis, along with 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Raymond Draper and Bill Draper and a sister: Linda Brewer.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 Noon at Christ Community Church, located at 100 Sherman Mt. Zion Rd.  Dry Ridge, KY 41035.  Funeral services will begin at 12:00 with Rev. Howard Chipman and Rev. Harold Gambrell officiating.  Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery.
