Lance Bradford Colbert , 62, of Williamstown, KY, passed away on Sunday March 15, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Grant County. Born on March 1, 1958 in California, he was the son of the late Jesse and Stella Lorraine Palmer Colbert.
On February 27, 2014, in Grant County, Lance was united in marriage to the former Brenda Carol Clark; she survives. He received his Master’s Degree from the University of Kentucky in Food Chemistry; he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Northern Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY. He was a Food Science Chemist with Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) based in Decatur, IL. He was an avid outdoorsman; he served as a Missionary to Brazil in Sao Paulo, through his church, Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Crittenden, where he served as a High Priest. He proudly served his country as a Captain in the U.S. Army.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, Brenda, include two sons: Richard Colbert of Boise, ID, Brent Colbert of Chicago, IL; one daughter: Chrissy Colbert Taylor of Tulsa, OK, one brother: Kerry Colbert of Corinth, KY and two sisters: September Cardiff of Savannah, GA and April Cheesman of Edgewood, KY. Eight grandchildren also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at a later date at the convenience of the family.
