Larry Ray "Joe Buck" Fornash

Larry Ray “Joe Buck” Fornash, 83, of Dry Ridge, KY, died Saturday, January 6, 2024, at his residence.  Born on Thursday October 24, 1940 in Dry Ridge, KY, he was the son of the late Ray and Ollie Kathryn Hutchison Fornash.

He was the widower of Janet Lee Cline Fornash; she preceded him in death on July 7, 2005. He was a truck driver for Scotty Beagle Trucking and Bullet Trucking for many years. Motorcycling was his favorite hobby; he also enjoyed relaxing while mowing his yard.

Survivors include two sons: Steven Ray Fornash, Larry “Buster” Fornash, Jr. of Dry Ridge; a “daughter he never had”, Kellie Chapman of Verona; one grandchild and his best friend, (his dog), Charlie.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes - Williamstown.  Funeral service will be Thursday, January 11th at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Scotty Simpson officiating.  Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
