Larry "Robbie" Nickell

Larry "Robbie" Nickell, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the age of 51.  He was the husband of Mary Nickell.

Robbie was born in Covington, KY on May 6, 1972 to the late Larry Nickell and Kathy Merrill Nickell.  On November 23, 1996 he was united in marriage to Mary Milner Nickell.  Robbie was a former mechanic for Piles Chevrolet and Handyman Tool Rental.  He was a member of the Mason Baptist Church.  He loved fishing, fixing things, working on cars and small engines, NASCAR, UFC, UK Basketball and Cincinnati Reds.  Above all things, Robbie loved every chance to spend time with his grandchildren and family.

In addition to his wife, Mary, Robbie is survived by two daughters, Katlynn Nickell of Dry Ridge, KY, Morgan (Brandon) Barnard of Walton, KY, one sister, Susie (Derrick) Plunkett of Corinth, KY, three grandchildren, Whitley, Karter, Sawyer and several aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life memorial visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 4-7pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.
