Lawrence William Ballard

Mr. Lawrence William Ballard, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Grant Co. on Monday, September 6, 2021 at the age of 81.  He was the husband of Nadine Beach Ballard.

Mr. Ballard was a former regional executive vice president of the Investor's Heritage Life Insurance Co and former employee of National Life Insurance Co.  He was an accomplished pianist, musician and former band member of the Moon Rockers Band for 60 years.  He loved fishing, boating, traveling, Cincinnati Bengals and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Nadine, Larry is survived by two sons, Thomas William Ballard (Patricia) of Dry Ridge, KY, Robert Wilson Ballard (Janice) of Covington, KY, one daughter, Julie Lee Martin (Barry) of Northport, FL, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Larry was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 11am-1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will be at 1pm. Burial will follow at the Hill Crest cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.
