Leota Spencer

Leota Rose Spencer was born June 4, 1932 and passed away September 27, 2019 in Florence, Kentucky at the age of 87.  She was the daughter of the late Logan G. and Earsa Jones Rose.

Leota was a retired school teacher and a member of Family Worship Center in Williamstown, KY.  She was a very active volunteer with Helping Hands in Williamstown for many years.  One of Leota's favorite pastimes was spending time outdoors riding ATVs.

Leota was preceded in death by her husband Billie Gene Spencer in 2004.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Herschel and Glyndon Rose; and a sister: Ann Winegar.

She is survived by 4 sons: Kim Logan Smith of Sidney, OH, Todd Alan Smith of Florence, Glen Bradley Smith of Bloomington, IL and Daniel Raymond Smith of Sheldon, IL; a brother: Lenville Rose of Beattyville, KY; and 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held 5:00 - 9:00 PM, October 11, 2019 at the Family Worship Center in Williamstown.
