Lewis Edward Arnold

July 30, 1958 — November 27, 2024

Lewis Edward Arnold , 66, of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away on Wednesday November 27, 20124 at his residence after an extended illness.  Born on July 30, 1958 in Norwood, OH, he was the son of the late Charles Edward “Eddie” and Ruby Fayrene Bradley Arnold.

On July 5, 1989, he was united in marriage to the former Kathy Susan Johnson; she survives.  He was a graduate of Grant Co. High School.  Upon graduation he entered Eastern Kentucky University where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Science. This led him into a lifetime of an engineering career; he served as a Field Service Engineer with various companies, most notably with Makino USA. While in high school he was in the marching band, played baseball and had a special appreciation for music. In later years, he became an avid reader and took great pleasure in meticulously working on model cars. At a young age he was baptized at Dry Ridge Baptist Church where he remained as a member.

It was during his college years that he developed a close-knit friendship with his college friends, to whom he continued to remain loyal.  Honoring his mother and father was a role he took seriously. Upon the death of his father, being dutiful bound, Lewis took on the responsibility of being the patriarch of the family, assuming the challenge of helping his mother raise his younger siblings…and did so in an honorable fashion. The legacy of his life reflects him as an individual with a keen sense of sarcastic humor, being a genuine role model, having strong work ethics and loving his family, especially his grandkids.

In addition to his wife of 35 years, Kathy Susan Arnold, he leaves to carry on his legacy, three grandchildren: Draven Wyatt (raised as a son), Blaze Wyatt and Lutian Wyatt; a step-son: Brandon Wyatt of Covington; one brother: David Arnold and his wife, Melissa Conner, and one sister: Patricia Bishop and her husband, Paul, along with a host of extended friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. (Once the date and time has been determined this website will reflect the updated information.)

Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown is honored to have the pleasure serving the Arnold family.
