Linda Lou Beatty

Linda Lou Gordon Beatty was born January 19, 1952 in Grant County, Kentucky and passed away December 22, 2020 in Louisville, Kentucky at the age of 68.  She was the daughter of the late James Prentice and Mary Bea Webster Gordon.

On March 8, 1970 Linda was united in marriage to Floyd P. "Gomer" Beatty who preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 2004.  In addition to her husband, Linda was preceded in death by a daughter: Frances Gordon; 2 half brothers: Pete and Donald Gordon; and a sister: Margie Gordon.

Linda was a retired bus monitor for Williamstown Independent Schools.  She enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and spending time with her grandkids.  She especially enjoyed coloring with them and building blocks with her grandson, J.P.

Linda is survived by 3 sons: Prentice Beatty of Owenton, Jackie Beatty (Ida) of Carrollton and Jason Beatty of Corinth; 2 daughters: Mary Webster (Cecil) of Carrollton and Melissa Beatty of Carrollton; a brother: Clyde Gordon of Owenton; 2 sisters: Barbara Kells of Cordova and Clara Whitaker of Williamstown; a half sister: Janet Gordon of Ft. Mitchell; 4 grandchildren: Linda Ann Webster, James Webster, Barbara Evelinne Webster and Makayla Kidwell; and 5 step grandchildren: Ryan Wells, Trenton Wells, Justin Wells, Dawndra McCormick and Josh Gutman.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, December 28, 2020 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.

Due to current COVID19 restrictions, masks will be required to be worn by all visitors and the building will be limited to 50% capacity.
