Linda Lou Morrison

April 12, 1941 — January 18, 2024

Linda Lou Morrison of Dry Ridge, Kentucky passed away late Thursday night, January 18th, 2024 at Gallatin Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility in Warsaw, Kentucky. She was born in Maysville, Kentucky on Saturday, April 12th, 1941 to the late Robert and Blanche Morrison. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Morrison; as well as her longtime love and partner, Roland (Bud) Villiers- though the two were not legally married, they were so in each other’s minds.

Linda spent her early childhood in Maysville until moving to Dayton, Kentucky where she attended and graduated from the Lafayette School in Covington, Kentucky. In 1966, during the time of the Vietnam War, Linda joined the United States Army. She served her country for over three years as a clerical typist until her honorable discharge from the service in September of 1969. In the 70’s, following her time in the military, Linda attended a number of classes at Northern Kentucky University. Equipped with the wealth of knowledge she acquired within the Army and college, Linda utilized those skills within her secretarial role at the Environmental Protection Agency, where she worked until her retirement.

Linda is survived by her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Sheila Morrison of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; as well as her two sisters, Sandra Mabalot of Miami, Florida and Jackie Rindsberg of Foster, Kentucky. Linda leaves a lasting legacy of her grandson, Skylar Morrison of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; along with her five treasured great-grandchildren: Erica, M.J., Maggie, Kennedy, and Ellie.

A private Memorial Service to scatter her remains will later be held for Linda by her adoring family.
