Lois Walters Nickels

Lois Walters Nickels of Dry Ridge, Ky was born Saturday, August 18, 1945 in Grant County, KY and died Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Williamstown, KY at the age of 75.

She was the daughter of the late James and Alma Perkins Walters, she was a retired custodian for the Grant County Court House, and was a member of the Wilmington Baptist Church. On October 3, 1970 she was united in marriage to her late husband, Henry Wayne Nickels who preceded her in death in 2005. In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Surviving is 1 son, Christopher Nickels of Falmouth; 1 daughter, Christina Nickels of Dry Ridge, 1 sister, Barbara (Harry) Cook of Corinth, her caregiver, Virginia Varner of Dry Ridge, and was mamaw to many.

Due to COVID restrictions on funerals, Lois’s visitation and funeral services will be restricted to guest by invitation only on Monday, December 7, 2020. Funeral services will be live streamed on the Stanley Funeral Home’s Facebook page at 1:00pm on Monday.
