Lorine Rose Snow

Lorine Rose Snow, 79, of Florence KY, passed away Tuesday October 3, 2023 at Villaspring Skilled Nursing Facility in Erlanger.  Born on Wednesday October 13, 1943 in Pineville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Riley and Nila Wilson Rose.

On March 7, 1987 in Williamstown, KY, Lorine was united in marriage to Harold Gene Snow; he survives. At age 62 she initially retired as an experienced welder for Auger Industrial Fabrication; for many years she taught welding classes. However, retirement short-lived, as she returned back to work; at age 65 she permanently retired.  She, along with her husband, enjoyed working together on the farm where they raised tobacco until 2004.  One of Lorine’s favorite pastimes was tending her flower garden at their home in Walton. She was a 1961 graduate of Bell Co. High School and was a member of New Hope Tabernacle in Walton.

In addition to her husband of 36 years, Harold Gene Snow, she leaves to carry on her memory, three daughters: Tina Parker of Hebron, KY, Deborah (Daniel Vines) Norris of Richwood, KY, Lolena Wehby of Crittenden, KY; one son: Randy Snow of Florence; two sisters: Charity (Curtis) Middleton of Marion, IN, Tressie Shoemaker of Barnhart, MO, along with 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren: and one great-great grandchild: Oliver Joseph Abner, all of whom lovingly called her "Nana".  She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be Friday October 6, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown.  Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Howard Chipman and grandson, Joey Abner officiating.  Burial will follow in Williamstown Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers will be: Erin Snow, Taylor Abner, Tiffany Overstreet, Isaiah Abner, William J. Abner III and Vincent McQueen.
