Louise Asher Benitez

Louise Asher Benitez of Newport, KY was born August 7, 1944 in Hardburly, KY and died Friday, January 10, 2025 in Ft. Thomas, KY at the age of 80 years.

She was the daughter of the late Doy and Mahala Couch Asher. She was a retired from Busken Bakery where she worked in sales and service, and was a member of True Christian Church of God in Hamilton, OH. On March 2, 1963 she was united in marriage to her husband of 61 years, Wilfred Benitez.

In addition to her husband Wilfred, she is also survived by a son, Dayjuan Benitez of Covington; three grandchildren, Donavon (Page) Benitez, Megan (Clayton) Benitez-Daley, and Skyler Benitez; three great-grandchildren, Kimber, Julius, and Benjamin; a brother, Danny Asher of Cincinnati; and a sister, Georgia Ellis of Newport.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, KY with burial to follow in the New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will also be Friday from 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
