Mr. Lowell "Sonny" Manford Beach, a Dry Ridge resident, peacefully passed away in his home on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 surrounded by family and friends. He was the widower of Dana Jo Alexander Beach.
Lowell was born on March 2, 1929 in Zion Station, to the late Avery Milton Beach and Della Webster Beach. Lowell joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was united in marriage to the late Dana Alexander Beach. From this union was born and survived by two daughters, Cathy (Daniel) Chapman of Dry Ridge, KY and Carla (Donnie Paul) Mullikin of Dry Ridge. In addition to his daughters, Lowell is survived by two brothers, Winston Glenn Beach of Dry Ridge, KY, Delbert (Kathy) Beach of Glencoe, KY, six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Lowell was a former General Foreman for the Clow Corporation and was a lifelong farmer. He loved to raise tobacco, dairy and beef cattle and had a passion for fox hunting. He loved to watch UK Basketball and the Cincinnati Reds. He was a long time member of the Vine Run Baptist Church and was a deacon, Sunday School teacher and a Gideon.
Memorial contributions may be made to: Vine Run Cemetery Fund, 270 Sipple Rd, Dry Ridge, KY and Gideons International.
Visitation will be Monday, May 3, 2021 from 11am-1pm at the Vine Run Baptist Church in Dry Ridge, KY. Funeral services will be at 1pm at the church. Burial will follow at the New Vine Run Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.
