Lucy Marie Pennington

Lucy Marie Abercrombie Pennington was born March 20, 1935 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky and passed away August 19, 2020 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 85.  She was the daughter of the late Arkless and Lorine Wainscott Abercrombie.

Lucy was a retired forklift operator for Johnson Controls.  She enjoyed spending her free time crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Pennington.  She is survived by her son: Robert Christopher Michael Pennington of Florence; 2 daughters: Victoria Kelly of Williamstown and Suzann Strong (Gary) of Corinth; a brother: Dillen Abercrombie (Rose) of Williamstown; 3 grandchildren: Victoria Maxwell (Ricky), Rachele Lonkard, Krystle Kelly, 7 great grandchildren:  Elizabeth Rowe, Ethan Maxwell, Layne David Maxwell; Blake Maxwell, Landon Brewer, Brinlee Lonkard and Kassidy Hall.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, August 24, 2020 at Crittenden Cemetery.  Burial will follow.
