Lynda Ann Campbell

April 23, 1955 — July 22, 2024

Lynda Ann Campbell, a Williamstown, Kentucky resident, passed away early Monday morning, July 22nd, 2024 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Care Center in Edgewood, Kentucky; she was 69 years old. Lynda was born in Covington, Kentucky on Saturday, April 23rd, 1955 to the late James and Loraine Louden. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, her pug, Ody, and her beloved husband, Jim Lee Campbell.

Lynda was such an incredibly strong lady, one that fought hard all of her days even till the end. As a homemaker, keeping house was one of her greatest passions throughout life. She loved to cook meals for her family, keep the house spotless, and most of all, run the vacuum. Lynda could often be found tending her garden in the summer, raising her green beans, tomatoes, and zucchini that would one day soon be served at her table. She adored animals and claimed all pets as her own, including her dear German Shepherd, Scout.

On Saturday, April 28th, 1973, Lynda and Jim were united in marriage. From their love blossomed a beautiful family as they raised two children: Sheila (Todd) Moore of Williamstown, Kentucky and Jayme (Kathleen) Campbell of Independence, Kentucky. Lynda and Jim would take camping trips to Bowling Green, Cumberland, and all across Kentucky. Together they attended car shows proudly showing off their blue Monte Carlo. Above all though, they cherished the times when all the family could come to the house and spend those precious moments with them. The two would spend over 28 happy, devoted years with one another until Jim’s passing in July of 2001.

In addition to her children, Lynda is survived by her sister, Sharon Barton of Crittenden, Kentucky. She leaves a lasting legacy of her three cherished grandchildren: Tyler Campbell, Brayden Moore, and Kasey Moore; as well as her two treasured great-grandchildren: Owen and Holden Campbell. Over the years, Lynda adored getting to watch the grandkids play baseball. It was her grandchildren that she loved more than anything in life, they were her world.
