Mabel Kathryn Riley Hamilton

Mabel Kathryn Hamilton, of Union, age 79, passed away on June 27, 2023.  She was born in Crittenden, KY on September 29, 1943 to the late Floyd and Mabel Riley.

Kathryn, as she preferred to be called, was a member of the Crittenden Christian Church.  She was retired from the Grant County Hospital, where she worked in the dietary department and housekeeping.

Kathryn loved nothing better than spending time with her family.  She was happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren and loved ones.  She will be deeply missed by all of them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a baby sister, Kimberley Lynn Riley.

Kathryn is survived by a sister, Brenda (Ken) Munday, two brothers, Floyd Riley, Jr. and Rick (Cindy) Riley, four children, Melody (Mike) Richards, Marla Jones, Keith Hamilton, and Krista Hamilton, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, June 30, 2023 from 11am-1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 132 S. Main St., Crittenden, KY.  Funeral Services will be at 1pm.  Bro. James Fisher will be officiating.  Burial will follow in the Crittenden Christian Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the Crittenden Christian Cemetery, c/o Mike Duley, 120 Liza Ln, Crittenden, KY 41030.
