Madeleine Louise Walker

Madeleine Louise Stubbs Walker was born Jan. 14, 1962 in Cynthiana, Kentucky and passed away at her home in Georgetown, Kentucky on June 27, 2024 at the age of 62.  She was the daughter of the late William Floyd Stubbs and Jolene Frances Fryman Ferguson.

Madeleine was a former warehouse worker for WSI in Frankfort as well as Johnson Controls.  She most recently worked at Kroger in Georgetown as a Clicklist order filler.  While she had a few different jobs in her work life, she took the most pride in being a homemaker and caring for her family.

She was a member of New Beginnings Church in Georgetown.  In her free time Madeleine loved flower gardening and remodeling.  She was also an avid Hallmark Movie fan and always enjoyed "Christmas in July".

Madeleine is survived by her son: Shannon Samuel Walker and his wife Jessica of Georgetown; two daughters: Billie Jo Louise Walker and Shelby Angel Lynn Lewis both of Georgetown; her grandson: Lionel Walker; a sister: Kimberly Parr and her husband Timothy of Corinth; and a brother-in-law: Winford Floyd.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Greg Stubbs, and a sister, Melissa Floyd.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Friday, July 5, 2024 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth.  Funeral services will also be 2:00 PM, Friday, July 5, 2024 at McDaniel Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Ravens Creek Cemetery.
