Malcolm Paul Mann was born May 2, 1945 in Gardnersville, Kentucky and passed away June 27, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Grant County at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Howard Taft and Erma Constance Mangold Mann.
On Aug. 1, 1970 Paul was united in marriage to Pamela Susan Ervin Mann. In addition to his wife of 51 years Paul is survived by 2 sons: Stephen Paul (Heather) Mann of Verona and Timothy Carter (Holly) Mann of Dry Ridge; a daughter: Evie (Bud) Gripshover of Piner; and 7 grandchildren: Lincoln Mann, Andrew Mann, Thomas Mann, Harper Mann, Kinley Mann, Ella Gripshover and Emelia Gripshover.
Paul was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Howard Gilbert and Bryce Clayton Mann.
Paul was a lifelong farmer and loved gardening. He was a graduate of Pendleton Co. High School and then attended Western Kentucky University. He formerly served as Vice President and was an honorary member of the Grant County Fair Board. He was a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Crittenden Baptist Church. Paul worked tirelessly in the Kitchen and Food Pantry at the church and never wanted anyone to go hungry, always looking to help feed those in need. One of his greatest passions was serving the children of the community through Upwards and allowing them to be involved in sports in a Christ centered environment. He was a founding member and treasurer of the Crittenden Baptist Church Upwards program.
Visitation will be Friday, July 1, 2022 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Crittenden Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, at the church with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Gardnersville Cemetery.
