Margaret Bruce Kelly

Margaret Bruce Kelly, a Reading, OH resident, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020 at Jewish Hospital at the age of 95.  She was the widow of George Kelly. Jr.

Mrs. Kelly was a lifelong homemaker and retired from the food service industry.  She was a member of the St. John Church of Christ and was an active member of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Kelly was survived by one son, Steven Kelly of Cincinnati, OH, one daughter, Judy Hiatt of Reading, OH, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and countless friends.  She was preceded in death by her oldest son Robert Eugene Kelly, two brothers, Austin “Buck” Bruce, Thomas “Tommy” Bruce, two sisters, Edith Conrad and Pearl Stamper.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Williamstown Cemetery. Pastor Torie Front will be officiating the services.  Memorials are suggested to the St. John Food Pantry/Soup Kitchen, 729 Jefferson Ave., Reading, OH 45215.
