Margie C. Partin

Margaret “Margie” Christine Partin , 75, of Crittenden, KY died unexpectedly Tuesday August 18, 2020 at her residence. Born December 13, 1944 in Somerset, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edith Ida Mercer Burton .

Margie was married to Richard Byrd Partin, Sr.; he survives. She was a dedicated housewife, committed homemaker; she had a special love for children; that love compelled her to work in Day Care for the past 10 years. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her husband, Richard, she leaves to carry on her legacy of love, four daughters: Rebecca Jones of Corinth, KY, Christine (Eddie) Slusher of Corinth, KY, Tabatha (Kelly) Hamilton of Sparta, KY, Ruth “Pooh” (Matt) Bass of Owenton, KY; three sons: Virgil (Barbie) Caudill, Jr. of Dry Ridge, KY, Richard (Michele) Partin, Jr. of Falmouth, KY, Mark (Amberly) Partin of Dry Ridge, KY; four brothers: Barry Burton of Florida, Donnie (Mary Ann) Hill of Tennessee, Roger Hill of Mt. Zion, KY and Charlie Hill of Crittenden, KY. Twenty-seven grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by a son: Scott Caudill and a great-grandson; Justin Bass.

Visitation will be Friday August 21, 2020 at Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Danny Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Williamstown Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers will be: Jeffrey Marshall, Brandon Slusher, Isaac Walters, Colton Partin, Dakota Bass, Jacob Partin, Virgil Lee Caudill III, Christopher Bass, Jesse Partin, Nicholas Caudill; Honorary Pallbearers will be: Cody Slusher, Garrett Partin and Kyle Slusher.

Memorial contributions may be made to family toward the funeral expenses.
