Maria "Sis" Lynn Kendall of Louisville, Kentucky

August 11, 1979 - February 26, 2025

MARIA LYNN “SIS” KENDALL, age 45, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at her home in Louisville, KY.  Born on August 11, 1979 in Grant County, KY, she was the daughter of William Otis Kendall and the late Lisa Dianne Riley.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Andrew Kendall.

Marie’s life centered around her children who brought her much joy and fulfillment.

She leaves behind a son, Jonathan (Jake) Gregory of Louisville, KY; and a daughter, Lisann Gregory of Louisville, KY, her best friend Jenni Ratliff, uncle, Walter Clay Riley, aunt, Janice Lynn Riley along with many other aunts and uncles and lots of cousins on the Kendall side.

A celebration of Maria’s life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 2-5 pm at the Elliston Baptist Church, 5770 Elliston Mt Zion Road, Dry Ridge, KY 41035. Food will be served following a small eulogy at 2:30 PM delivered by Reverend Dan Houston. We would love for you to come and share your favorite stories and memories of SIS.
