Marianne Lee Snowden, 29, of Walton, KY, passed away Thursday January 14, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center – Florence from complications of COVID-19. Born Monday June 10, 1991 in Edgewood, KY, she was the daughter of Herbert E. Snowden of Nicholasville, KY and Sherry Lynn Spencer Snowden of Walton.
Marianne was a bright and shining Princess; her life was an epitome of love that radiated into everything she did and every life she touched. She was actively involved in NorthKey Community Care in Williamstown where she loved working in the greenhouse as a florist. Much joy and happiness came from actively participating in Special Olympics where she loved cheerleading, running track, bowling and playing softball. She loved anything Disney and was a huge Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins fan. She was a 2009 graduate of Grant Co. High School.
She leaves to carry on her legacy, her mother: Sherry L. Snowden of Walton, her father: Herbert E. (Viola) Snowden of Nicholasville; her fiance’: Matthew Scott of Williamstown; two brothers: Kenny Rayburn of Williamstown, (Shannon Rayburn of Dry Ridge), Eric (Delana) Rayburn of Williamstown; three sisters: Sandy Snowden of Campbellsville, Wendy Snowden of Campbellsville and Megan (Bill) Mink of Nicholasville; paternal grandparents: J.T. and Bertha Stamper Snowden of Nicholasville; nephews: Marcus Rayburn, Quinton Rayburn, Gage Rayburn, Jackson Stiles, Dustin Smothers, Dalton Smother, Jayden Mink; nieces: Jillian Rayburn, Karlie Stiles, Destiny Skaggs, Emily Mink and Everlee Mink, along with numerous aunts and uncles. Also surviving are two very special friends: Matt Dodd, who always took “Sis” to the “Royal Prom” and George Saliba. She was preceded in death by a brother: Justin Snowden; her maternal grandparents: Wendell and Ann Burnett Spencer; a niece: Devin Hicks and a nephew: Dylan Snowden.
Visitation will be Monday January 18, 2020 from 10 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown. Funeral services will be at 1:00 with Rev. Mike Pullens officiating. Marianne's services will be live-streamed on Stanley Homes Homes Facebook page, beginning at 1:00 Monday.
