Marie Ackman of Williamstown, Kentucky

Marie Ackman , 78, widow of James Ackman and resident of Williamstown, KY, died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Oldham County, KY on October 27, 2018. Born in Manuel, (Perry Co.) KY, she was the daughter of the late Calloway and Goldie Allen Napier.

Marie was married on October 11, 1961 in Crittenden, KY to James Ackman; he precedes her in death. She was retired from Wal-Mart in Dry Ridge, where she worked in the meat and produce department. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Walton, KY.

Survivors include one son: Mike Ackman and one daughter: Joy Ackman, both of Williamstown, KY; one sister: Sheryl Brewer of Hazard, KY and a sister-in-law: Bessie (late Paul) Napier She was preceded in death by three brothers: Hargis Napier, Raymond Napier and Paul Napier.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday November 1, 2018 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, located at 80 Brookwood Drive in Walton, KY.
